Temple Day!

I'm doing great! The reason that I didn't write yesterday, is because we got to go to the Redlands Temple today!!! So they moved our P-day to today. :) Can I just say it was AWESOME! I love the Temple. :) President and Sister Hobbs came with us and that was a really sweet experience. We also went to Cafe Rio after! YUM. So yeah, so far it's been a pretty awesome P-day!

So you're probably wondering how training is going! It's going great! My "greenie" is awesome! Her name is Sister Riley, and she's from Elkridge, Utah. At first I didn't know where that was (yeah, yeah go ahead and make fun of me!) but it's like ten minutes from Mapleton! How cool is that? She's super sweet, and ready to work! I think we're going to get along just great, and see some awesome miracles! Unfortunately she's been pretty sick the past couple of days, but she's been such a trooper and she hasn't wanted to slow down! I'm learning a lot from her, and I'm excited for this next transfer!

As far as this week goes, it's been great! We had transfers, we got to do some service, and we found some new investigators! :)

So Tuesday was transfers, and after transfer meeting I got to go on exchanges with a couple of the other trainers why the new missionaries were in their meetings. We came to our area, and were able to teach Joe, so that was good! I also felt like I learned a lot from them. It's really fun to be able to work with other missionaries, and to see how you can improve.

Wednesday and Thursday were good too! We got to help a less active move. We've been teaching her for a while, and we're hoping that this move will be very good for her. I think that once she gets to a new ward, she'll be able to get back to church! :)

The rest of the week we were doing a lot of finding. X went out of town, Y couldn't meet with us, and Z dropped us. :/ So we were out looking for seekers! And we met a lot of cool people!  And we found a new investigator! His name is G! We met him while we were trying to meet a Less Active in our ward. They weren't home, and on the way out of the complex we walked passed G. His dog was barking at us as we walked by, and we were able to strike up a conversation. :) He was on the edge of bashing with us (he's a devout member of his church) but by the end of our conversation we were able to answer his questions and give him a Book of Mormon. We have an appointment with him on Friday, and we're very excited! :)

There is a lot of potential in our area that we are seeing, and we are excited to find those people that need the Gospel! It's been a hard week, but also a great week! I feel like I've learned so much.

God gives us challenges and trials to help us grow closer to him. I'm learning that more and more. I don't think I've ever felt closer to the Savior then I have while I've been out here. I know this is His work, and I'm so grateful to be apart of it. There were many tender mercies.
